Expanded Bulletin Announcements for Sabbath, May 26, 2018

Welcome to Eastgate SDA Church!
This Weekend!  Pastor Eric; “Never Alone”, Joshua 1:9
Fear is a powerful emotion.  It can motivate us to do things we would have never done but, it can also paralyze us into inaction.  There’s nothing new about fear… Joshua, Moses’ successor, experienced fear.  As he stood on the bank of the Jordan, he probably felt some anxiety hoping things would go better this time!  In response to this fear, God reminded Joshua about a promise he had made before.  This promise, I believe, is the greatest key to removing fear from our lives.
Join us as we continue to focus on our Promise Sermon Series.
I’m looking forward to worshiping with you!
~Pastor Eric
Come at 9:30am and spend an hour with us in bible study in small groups.  Children’s age appropriate classes too!  Then stay from 10:45am – 12:15pm as we meet in the sanctuary for this special worship service.  Following that will be our Fellowship Dinner, bring something to share!
Next Weekend:  Pastor Eric Sayler continues the Promise Series

Washington Conference Camp Meeting – Auburn, Washington
Living Generously – Sharing Faithfully:  June 15-23, 2018.  Held on the campus of Auburn Adventist Academy.
A festival of faith, a gathering of hope, atime of spiritual growth and renewal.  Camp meetings hold a lot of tradition in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  This is when faithful followers of the Advent hope gather to worship, to share faith, to grow in their Bible understanding, and to find encouragement for living generously and sharing faithfully.
Right here in western Washington, camp meetings trace back to 1886 when a handful of Seattle area Sabbath keepers held their first camp meeting in this region.  This annual time of encouragement continues today.
This might be your first time at Washington Adventist Camp Meeting, or an annual tradition in your family for the past 50 years or more.  Through your camp meeting experience, may you be inspired to live and share generously the hope and wholeness that Jesus offers us!
