Expanded Bulletin Announcements for Sabbath, January 13, 2018

Welcome to Eastgate SDA Church!
This Weekend!
Pastor Eric Sayler
Muhammed Ali had no doubt in his mind that he was awesome.  In 1964 he poetically proclaimed “I am the greatest,” going on to predict that he would defeat his next rival soundly, and, he did.  He truly was the greatest.
This desire to proclaim our greatness comes pretty easy for most of us.  It’s easy to slip in self-congratulatory statements meant to convey how good we are.
But, is this the way of Christ?  This Sabbath, as we continue our Christian Community Life series we will be exploring the issue of humility and how God thinks this should look in our lives.
~Pastor Eric
Come at 9:30am and spend an hour with us in bible study in small groups.  Children’s age appropriate classes too!  Then stay from 10:45am – 12:15pm as we meet in the sanctuary for worship services.
Next Weekend  Pastor Eric Sayler
